Visitors from Congregation Adath Jeshurun from Minneapolis and Magen Avraham from Omer, Israel and members of Temple Beth Am of Miami spent the evening in Beit Warszawa.

Our guests met the president of Beit polska, Piotr Stasiak, our active member, Joe, watched a power point presentation shown by Rabbi Gil Nativ and his wife Zivah and listened to the fascinating personal stories of members of our Step-by-Step class who have been studying about Judaism for at least a year: Magda, Maciej, Henryk, Ella, Dominika and Agnieszka.

Piotr Mirski, one of our lay cantors entertained our guests at dinner. Piotr Mirski completed the Step-by-Step class several years ago and went on the study in the two year lay cantors program that prepares people to lead Shabbat and Festival prayers and in the second year to lead High Holidays. Piotr Mirski is just completing his doctoral studies at the University of Lublin.
