Sometimes a documentary film is the perfect vehicle for difficult issues of discussion.

Wilshire Boulevard Temple in conjunction with Friends of Jewish Renewal in Poland, Beit Polska and Two Points Film Present an Exclusive Screening of Bogdan’s Journey

Bogdan Bialek, a Catholic Pole, journalist, and psychologist engaged the people of Kielce, Poland in addressing the painful anti-Semitic history of their town where on July 4, 1946, more than 40 Jews were murdered in a pogrom. For six decades there was silence until Dr. Bogdan Bialek attempted to foster a complex journey toward healing and reconciliation.

Panel to follow with Dr. Menachem Mirski from Gdansk, Poland, currently an American Jewish University Rabbinical Student and Rabbi Haim Dov Beliak, Executive Director of Friends of Jewish Renewal in Poland.

Thursday, February 22 7:30 p.m.
