Recently, the Beit Warszawa congregation has met at the Bavel, a Jewish cultural center, and in a conference center near town. Part of the purpose of the trip was to meet people in the Step by Step classes and to learn about their concerns. Overall, Beit Polska has over 25 people enrolled in various conversion stages, and one of the critical reasons for the trip was to arrange for completing the course and the Beit Din process.[…]

Of the new centers Spynka opened last month, they are incredibly excited about the Spynka classroom at Fort Mokotow in Warsaw. Built for fortification during WWII but never put to use, Fort Mokotow is now a beautifully designed enclave of businesses and artistic creation. The Spynka space is one of our most beautiful and allows the children to be in a great outdoor environment in addition to the classroom. Chava Rosenfarb’s, The Tree of Life
Our webinar with Goldie Morgentaler will discuss her mother Chava Rosenfarb’s Yiddish novel of Lodz, Poland January 1939 until the end of Lodz Ghetto in 1944. Dr. Morgentaler translated the book from Yiddish to English. Now there is an excellent Polish translation by Dr. Joanna Lisek .[…]
