We had a beautiful meeting on the occasion of the 15th of Av.
08-15-24 – 15th of Av, known as Tu B’Av, is one of the most moving days on the Jewish calendar. It’s a celebration of love and joy, which symbolizes renewal and hope. In the Jewish tradition, 15 Av is the day when the mourning for the Destruction of the Temple ended. After many difficult days and months, the Jews begin to celebrate life and love.
Various ceremonies took place on this day, including meetings of young people dancing and looking for partners. It was considered that the 15th of Av is the perfect time to make new relationships. Joint dances, songs and joy in the air emphasize the importance of togetherness and love.
It is also touching that in the past, despite tragic events, Jews were able to find joy and hope in love. Tu B’Av reminds us that even after the darkest moments in life, light and love can always be found. It’s a day that teaches us the importance of human relationships and the importance of nurturing love in difficult times.
